Satan has designed a weapon from hell. It’s called a H.A.R (short for hate, anger, and revenge). It’s designed like a pistol, having a handle or grip, it has sights for aiming, but the barrel faces the rear, rather than facing forward. Each time we use the weapon of hate, anger and revenge, we are wounded. Whether we shoot from the hip, or aim precisely at the target, we are the ones who are hurt, and our target remains untouched. Whenever we wish misfortune or harm for another person, for any reason, we are the ones who receive the harm or misfortune. It’s quite a weapon, and only Satan could have designed it.
God said, “If my people who are called by name will humble themselves, pray, seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from Heaven and I will forgive their sins and heal their nation.”
God thinks of sin as wounds, and America has become a veritable battle ground with the wounded all around us, and many times ourselves. America has sinned. We are wounded, and we need God’s forgiveness and healing. Our nation needs healing. We can’t correct everyone, but we can bring healing to ourselves by repenting and seeking God. Yes, we can be healed, and our nation can be healed – one casualty at a time. Change doesn’t start at the top. It begins at the bottom, with us. We can change America, by changing ourselves. We can stop the self-inflicted blood bath, and seek God’s healing and forgiveness. It all begins with us, as we kneel before our Protector, our Benefactor and our Healer.
