DNA and the written word

A message typed out to read is like DNA in many ways. We can look at a written page and we can read the message. However, being able to read the message does not disprove the existence of an intelligence that formulated the letters to create a message. Being able to decipher DNA, also, does not disprove the existence of the intelligence that formulated the DNA. In fact, when we look past the message, we know that the letters did not assimilate themselves into a readable message. We know that behind every example of intelligent expression, there is an intelligent creator. Whether it is a book, a short message, or coils of DNA, we know, without a doubt, that they weren’t created accidently. There is a creator. Not only did He create and assimilate different forms of DNA to create life as we know it, He, also, sent a message to mankind: John 3:16 ” For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whosoever believes in Him, shall not die, but have everlasting life.” Yes, He, also, created everlasting life for us to enjoy. He gave us life through DNA, and gave us eternal life through His Son and His written word. He is the intelligence behind it all.  We don’t have to die on a cross in order to receive eternal life.  It’s been done for us through His love for us.  We receive it because of our love for Him.  And the circle of life and love goes on, forever.
